今日で3日目に突入したパリショールーム。

 

 

本日は、COTTLEの展示会場の様子を掲載致します。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

パリ中心部の大きな会場でショールームを設けるCOTTLE。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

入り口すぐには新たなコレクション、”Beauty of Utility”のインスピレーションのインスタレーション。

これまでのショールームの3日間、世界各地から様々な国のバイヤーが訪れていたCOTTLE。

 

 

たくさん存在するコレクションの洋服だけではなく、それぞれのインスタレーションにも皆様が見入っているようでした。

 

 

 

 

そして、3日目の今日。

 

 

 

 

カメに餌をあげるという毎朝の僕の日課を、粛々とこなし、颯爽とMETRO(パリの地下鉄)で出勤しようとした矢先。。。

 

 

 

 

我々が宿泊する場所からショールームまでを繋ぐ3番線が朝から動いていないという知らせが。。。

 

 

 

 

そこでMETROの代替案として浮上したLime(レンタサイクル)。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

朝8時30分から気温22度、天気は晴れというとても心地良い気候の中、日本では法外なほど異常なスピードが出る自転車での出勤。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

原付を超えるような速度で身体を通り抜ける風がハンパなく気持ち良い朝。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

全然急いでないのに、日本ではなかなか受けられないほどの風を身体に感じようと、相応のスピードを出す我々。

 

 

今日は、ゲイパレードもあったようで、パリに滞在している多くの人が自転車を使ったのではないかと思う。

 

 

 

 

既に明日から後半戦。

 

 

 

また引き続き紹介します。

Day 3 at the Paris Showroom Begins

Today marks the third day of the Paris showroom.

This time, we’d like to share a glimpse of COTTLE’s exhibition space.
COTTLE has set up its showroom in a spacious venue in central Paris.
Right by the entrance, an installation inspired by the new collection, “Beauty of Utility”, greets visitors.
This piece features a new interpretation using sakiori (traditional Japanese rag weaving).
Over the past three days of the showroom, buyers from all around the world have come to see COTTLE.

It wasn’t just the many garments in the collection that drew attention—everyone seemed captivated by the various installations as well.

 

And now, day 3.

As usual, I quietly completed my morning routine of feeding the turtle, and was about to head out briskly to work via the METRO (Paris subway) when…

We were notified that Line 3—the very one connecting our accommodation to the showroom—wasn’t running since the morning.

So as an alternative to the METRO, we turned to Lime (a bike-sharing service).
At 8:30 a.m., with the temperature at a pleasant 22°C and clear skies, we commuted on bicycles that move at speeds that would be considered outrageously fast by Japanese standards.
The wind rushing past us at speeds rivaling mopeds was incredibly refreshing.
Even though we weren’t in any particular hurry, we ended up cycling at quite a pace—eager to feel that exhilarating breeze you rarely experience back in Japan.

Apparently, there was also a gay pride parade today, so I imagine many people staying in Paris opted to get around by bike.

 

From tomorrow, the second half begins.
