<\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n __________ Late January, in Paris.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n During this time, Paris Men’s Week takes place, bringing together brands, buyers, media, and various industry professionals from around the world.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n LE BERGER \/ Herd Limited. also held a showroom during this period.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Herd Limited.’s Showroom.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n COTTLE, with its atelier based in Okayama Prefecture, showcased its collection.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Each piece in their collection is crafted to an unparalleled level of quality, and with such a wide variety of designs, they held their showroom in a large space in Paris.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n COTTLE’s Paris showroom brings together multiple collections with distinct concepts, all displayed in one space.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n SILVANA MANETTI is a brand that creates every piece within its atelier using a truly unique technique, unparalleled anywhere in the world.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Positioning its atelier as a “research and development lab for textiles,” the brand continuously develops highly distinctive collections. For the January 2025 Paris Men’s Week, the showroom focused primarily on its core collection, the PERMANENT COLLECTION. Next, the LE BERGER Showroom.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n calmlence, a solo project by designer Kazuyuki Kumagai, who has over 30 years of experience in garment-making.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n In Japan, the brand is intentionally operated with a limited retail presence, but with Collection 005, its fifth collection, calmlence made its highly anticipated debut at Paris Men’s Week.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Fortunately, I have been involved with calmlence since Collection 001, the brand\u2019s very first season, and have had the opportunity to continuously witness its evolution.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n With each collection, the craftsmanship has deepened even further.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n And seeing calmlence amidst the streets of Paris\u2014it felt profoundly emotional and poetic. On a different floor of the same venue, the jewelry brand DAN TOMIMATSU was showcased.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n The showroom featured collections such as DISSOLVE and UNBOUND.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n DAN TOMIMATSU reveals a completely different expression depending on which collection you hold in your hands.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Having been involved in sales for many years myself, encountering the brand once again in a foreign setting allowed me to experience it from a fresh perspective\u2014it felt as though it was speaking directly to my soul. The jewelry brand taupe D. Motoike was also showcased at the same venue.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Its pure gold textures immediately captured attention. I hope to introduce this piece on this blog someday, but for now, it was showcased in the showroom\u2014a belt crafted from exceptionally high-quality leather. Toogood Paris Showroom.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n I had previously visited this showroom as a buyer, and the experience left a vivid impression that I still remember clearly to this day.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Even now, revisiting the showroom from a different perspective, it remains a truly special place.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n At Toogood, stepping into the showroom doesn\u2019t immediately reveal the collection on display. Instead, the space is designed as an introduction to the season, setting the tone before unveiling the pieces.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n For this visit, the showroom was curated to reflect the A\/W 2025 collection, bringing its seasonal theme to life through its immersive presentation.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n During my stay, I visited the Toogood showroom multiple times, and no matter when I went, it was always bustling with buyers and industry professionals from select shops all over the world. This is Bergfabel.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n The showroom was held in a beautifully atmospheric space, slightly removed from the city center. In Japan, only the men\u2019s collection is showcased in Tokyo, but in Paris, both men\u2019s and women\u2019s collections of Bergfabel are presented together. And here.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Although it\u2019s not apparent in this photo, the showroom was held in a large building.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n MotivMfg Showroom.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Currently, there are no exhibitions in Japan where the collection can be viewed, but in Paris, MotivMfg presents its full collection.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n This was my first time seeing the collection in Paris, and I was truly amazed by the quality of the actual pieces.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n I hope to introduce more about it in the future. Finally, this one.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n A showroom held in a hotel room in Paris.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Currently, SAPIO has limited availability in Japan. The designer played a significant role at Rick Owens, contributing to the brand\u2019s early development and success over 18 years. Showrooms serve as spaces where a brand\u2019s full collection is presented, but beyond that, the atmosphere, setting, and execution of each showroom vary greatly, making them places where one can deeply experience the mood and essence of a brand. The brands curated by LE BERGER \/ Herd Limited. may not necessarily be widely recognized or mainstream names.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n However, during my time as a buyer, I never placed much emphasis on whether a brand was famous or unknown.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n What mattered to me was originality\u2014whether something was irreplaceable and distinct.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n That is precisely why I chose to buy and represent these brands for LE BERGER \/ Herd Limited., because I believed that true value lies in uniqueness and that there must be a clear reason to purchase and own these pieces.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n This approach was always subjective, but I have come to realize that many select shops that curate and operate their own stores are not familiar with these brands as much as I had assumed.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n There are likely many reasons for this, but one major factor is that these brands are so deeply immersed in their craftsmanship\u2014dedicating all their time and energy to creation\u2014that they often do not have the resources or strategies to expand their recognition.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Today, brand visibility is largely determined by Instagram, where new information is constantly overwritten. The key is how effectively a brand can reach a wider audience without being buried in the algorithm.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Since this field has now become a specialized profession, it is difficult for a brand to succeed in both masterful craftsmanship and digital marketing at the same time.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n I believe that getting to know brands with this level of craftsmanship can become a form of cultural education.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n This realization has come from personally witnessing the process of garment-making\u2014seeing how incredible dedication and skill are reflected in each finished piece.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n This time, I shared a glimpse of the Paris Men’s Showroom, where brands unveil their collections every six months. But moving forward, I hope to share even more insights and stories here.
