    There are many ways to \u201cseason\u201d a hat through various finishing processes, but the methods used by IRIES H.M. are born from the perspective of a hat-maker.<\/p>\n

    This treatment acts almost like placing a sheer veil over the hat, bringing out the depth of the material, its nuance, and its tactile quality.<\/p>\n

    Although the technique is highly original, it is always designed on the premise that the hat should blend naturally into the wearer\u2019s everyday life.<\/p>\n

    The finishing quietly draws out the individual character<\/strong> of each material, having first discerned its innate qualities.<\/p>\n

    This process requires roughly three times the labor and number of steps compared to standard production flows, such as ordinary felt-hat blocking.<\/p>\n
